I absolutely LOVED all the decorations and flowers! The flowers were soooooo beautiful and perfect!! The pink chair sashes were a perfect match to the girls dresses! The chapel looked so beautiful. Thank you sooooo much for all your hard work and beautiful flowers and decorations!!

What an amazing day for a wedding. Marina and Adam had a beautiful sunny Saturday to get married at the Interfaith Chapel at UVic http://web.uvic.ca/multifaith/chapel/.
The morning started with the picking up of flowers that were done by Mayfair Flowers http://www.mayfairflowershop.com/ in Westshore Center.We dropped off the pink gerber daisy bouquets to the bride. After giving Adam’s dad a quick tutorial on how to pin on Boutonnierres the boys were ready to head to the chapel. Brad from Fetching Images http://www.gofetching.com/index2.php#/home/ followed the couple around all day and took some amazing photos for us of the decor.
After a beautiful ceremony at UVic the guests enjoyed the sunshine outside the Chapel before heading to the Reception site. The reception was held at the Four Points Sheraton Hotel with a bright pink magenta color to compliment the white wedding. Magenta pink is very popular this year and the sash color is stunning.
We used our brand new Pink Magenta rose balls to decorate the ceremony chairs complimented with a white aisle runner and magenta petals. Marina and Adam had two arrangements on white pillars at the front of the aisle to mark the alter. The great thing about these pillars and arrangements are that we transport them to the reception venue after the ceremony is over and put them at each end of the headtable. You get two uses out of them!
The reception was decorated with chair covers, magenta sashes and the centrepieces were pink gerber daisies on mirrors with some bling scattered around on the guest tables.
It was a pleasure to decorate for Marina and Adam’s wedding.

The summer is on a roll with the wedding season in full swing. It is amazing how every wedding has the same components including flowers, decor, dresses, cakes, music ect. but each of them are so completely different.
Details has hired a full-time assistant this year to help plan and run all the events. Her name is Anira Anderson. Anira started working with Details last summer as a co-op student. Anira has recently finished a Tourism Management Diploma and an Event Management Certificate from Vancouver Island University. After working with Details last summer, Anira has found a real love for planning events of various types for clients.
She finished a WPIC course this year in Vancouver and became a Certified Wedding Coordinator with The Wedding Planners Institute of Canada. With over 40 weddings under her belt so far, Anira is an amazing event planner to work with. Her attention to detail, professionalism and outgoing personality makes her an outstanding Event Coordinator.
Anira will be working on keeping a “Detail”ed Blog on all our events this year.
